A Christmas Carol Houston reviews
wonderful play, great theater, BAD Box seats
This was a great play overall. Great acting, good music. Wells Theater is a charming place and a loved the overall experience. We had bought box seats and were assigned Box 1 on the left side of the theater seats 3 and 4. These are the worst seats of any theater, box or not, I have ever sat in. The Box is set in a way that you have more of the view of the side walls than the stage. There really is no room for 4 chairs that were forced placed in the box and unless you are sitting in the first row of the Box you can not see anything. After missing 1st half of the show where we saw nothing but the backs of our box mates and the walls, I asked to be moved. The theater staff was very nice and found us two seats and we were able to see the last half of the show.
I love theater and think this was a great show. Actors did a great job but I was so disappointed that we missed the 1st half of the show becasue of where we were seated. I paid a lot of money for Box seats from where you can't see a thing!
